Nancy Anne Davis, a soprano, holds a Master’s degree from the University of North Texas, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Simpson College.   Most recently, she performed the role of Leading Lady Ghost in Fresco Opera Theatre’s original production Paranormal  Playhouse, as well as performing Donna Anna in the East Side Chamber Player’s production of Don Giovanni.  In January she performed the role of Musetta in Act II of La Bohème with Southeastern Wisconsin Performing Arts. Other Fresco productions include Anna in The Real Divas of Dane County, The Good, The Bad, and The Divas, as well as the Dueling Divas II. She performed the soprano solos in both the Bach Magnificat and the Rutter Requiem with the Choral Arts Society of Southeastern Wisconsin.  She has also collaborated with organ in concert at several Milwaukee churches.  She performed the roles of Belinda in Dido and Aeneas and Casilda in The Gondoliers with SEWPA.  In 2003 she was an Apprentice artist with the Des Moines Metro Opera. She has also participated in the Young Artist Festival in Bayreuth, Germany,  She was a part of the Castleton Residency program under the direction of Lorin Maazel, as well as singing with the Crested Butte Music Festival.  She has worked with the Fort Worth Symphony where she performed the role of Madame Goldentrill in The Impresario.  Upcoming engagements include chorus with Florentine Opera’s La Traviata, as well as the soprano soloist in SEWPA’s Lessons and Carols in December.
